NSDA Architects has submitted a redevelopment application to redevelop 4279 Norland Avenue Burnaby into a six-storey senior non-market housing with underground parking. The empty piece of land that is currently a parking lot located close to Burnaby City Hall providing easy access public services which makes it ideal for senior home.

  • Total Site Area: 81,483 Sqft
  • Rezoned from: CD-P5 to CD-RM3
  • Permitted FAR: 1.1
  • Proposed FAR 1.3
  • Proposed Unit count: 155 affordable senior rental units
  • Underground parking for residents and outside parking for visitors

The first public hearing took place on June 9th online due to covid-19. 50% of the units at housing income limits and 30% of units offered at moderate income. Dania Society will be eligible to apply for housing grant for funding due to non-profit nature of the housing.
